Technology is like any other tool in our classrooms. It is there and used because it inspires, creates, builds, and maintains the connections and relationships that are essential to effective learning. Grades K-2 classrooms have 4–6 laptops for student use. Grade 3-5 classrooms have one-to-one access to laptops. We also have a computer lab with mini-Macs.
As of the 2016-2017 school year our students in grades 4 and 5 are now part of the Maine Learning Technology Initiative.
Our students learn to use these tools safely and effectively in alignment with National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS-S) as well as with Common Core Standards.
